I have an extremely nice headset which is very comfortable (which we really need when we use it for up to 8+ hours a day) and I love it!
However, today as I got out of the plane in Bunia in the Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, my foot caught on the wire connecting it to the plane. I was in the caravan and so the drop to the ground from the cockpit is at least 4 feet.... can you see what's coming?
Yep, my headset crashed out of the door after me, and smashed down onto the floor.

So, what's the good news I hear you ask...?
Well, I called a very nice lady at Lightspeed (the manufacturer of the headset) and she is going to send me the address so I can Fed-Ex it to them to fix it. They normally have them fixed in about 5 days (she said) and then it can be couriered back to me. Praise the Lord!
So until then I have to go back to my not so comfortable, and certainly not so nice old headset....
Will keep you posted...!
