Legoland

Hanging out in Legoland with your kids and some friends and their kids - could be hit or miss with the weather (and the friends of course!). However, Jo, Mark, Jack, Eddie and Evie were the best sort of friends (we've known them for years!) and the weather was amazing! Beautiful sunshine and nice and warm!

The kids had an amazing time - Bethany had her first experience on a proper rollercoaster and loved it, Naomi had the same and didn't! We went on the pirate log-flume and the Viking raft ride and got soaking wet, dino-rides, electric cars in the Learner centre, helicopter ride, Fairytale boat ride and so many more.

We arrived for the park opening at 9.30am and then left after the last 4D movie at about 6.30pm. All in all, a very long, wonderful day and the kids and parents were exhausted.

Good ol' England

Well, for those who don't know - we are in the UK for 6 weeks, about half way through currently and have done 4 speaking engagements with 4 more to come in the next few weeks.

In between these we have been catching up with old friends and today met up with our good friend Camilla and spent the day at Stratford-upon-Avon. We went along to the butterfly farm there and had a wonderful time looking at all the caterpillars, pupae and butterflies along with a couple of lizards and some parrots who also inhabit the farm.

Great day out - if you get to go - check online for various vouchers giving discounts - we managed to find one that allowed the kids to go free!

Next we're off to Birmingham - Aquarium (parents' choice) and Build-a-bear (not the parents' choice).
