A couple of weeks back was Em's birthday - we decided to go out for it to the Serena Hotel in downtown Kampala. Every Sunday they do an amazing brunch, so after church we went over to the Serena and enjoyed a lovely meal as a family.
It was buffet style and they even had sea food. Normally we steer well clear of sea food, what with being almost as far from the sea in Africa as you can get, but this was different - it was delicious! The dessert counter was great - I made it my mission to try everything, but failed... :-( They even brought out some cake for her with "Happy Birthday Emma" written in chocolate icing. We can thoroughly recommend it!
