We observed the sun light coming through leaves of trees, through a holey spatula and also through a straw hat!
Enjoy the pictures!

Through a spatula (the holes act like a mini pinhole camera)
Through a sunhat (the holes in the hat act like mini pinhole cameras)
Through leaves of a tree (see the moon shapes projected onto the wall)
This was my pinhole camera - a poster tube balanced on my music stand
Through a pinhole camera (this was as the moon was moving away)

Wow! amazing pictures. lovely to see the Sun at all, in fact!
That's ace! I particularly like the straw hat one :-)
Reminds me of the the Far Side cartoon of a what a fly sees before being swatted, from the view of a compound eye..
It was really an exciting viewing although older people were telling us all sorts of strange and scary things about the phenomenon.
Well we know what it is, no worries. Experts says a similar one (as long as this) will occur in 1000 years, let's wait and see...in 3010.
