Medical Evacuation from Amudat

Returning from Amudat

Yesterday I did a medevac from Amudat, Karamoja (North East Uganda, near the border with Kenya). A lady had been shot by the cattle rustlers up there 3 times in the leg and needed to get to the hospital in Kampala as soon as possible.
I took a doctor with me and we were able to get there, pick her up and be back in Kampala just after 3pm – only 4½ hours after getting the call.
She was picked up from our airfield by an ambulance and taken to one of the hospitals in Kampala.
We pray that she makes a good recovery.
